There is no more distinctive location for your Lake Tahoe corporate event, team retreat, or family gathering than historic Thunderbird Lodge. Set amid acres of forested land, this awe-inspiring estate ensures privacy for enchanting celebrations. The underground tunnels, boathouse, sand-covered beach, stunning sunsets, and all day access to the lakeside grounds creates the perfect backdrop for memory-making photographs. Enhance your special occasion with a cruise aboard the venerable THUNDERBIRD yacht, an art-deco icon from a bygone era.
Each year, Thunderbird Lodge opens to just a few gala Castle-for-a-Day corporate and family events for up to 100 attendees on the lakeside lawn, or 50 attendees in our Lighthouse Room. Castle-for-a-Day is for use of the site only and does not include other costs such as catering, planning, furnishings, entertainment, or transportation. Our staff will refer meeting and event planners and purveyors who then handle every aspect of your special day. Castle-for-a-Day grants you access to the estate for one 14-hour day from 9AM – 11PM, including setup, teardown, and clean-up time.
A Castle-for-a-Half-Day option is available for corporate, family, and rehearsal dinner events (not wedding receptions) running from 3PM – 11PM.
