As our principal fundraising event to preserve Lake Tahoe’s Castle-in-the-Sky and the world famous Thunderbird yacht, Thunderbird Lake Tahoe hosts Dinner Events June through October. Tour this National Historic Site with a glass of wine in hand and share in its legacy while strolling magnificent lawns, gardens, and stone terrace vistas. Certain evenings include a lively auction of exclusive items and events, and an opportunity to purchase selected wines.
To reduce the high cost of credit card fees, Thunderbird prefers payment by check. However, all major credit cards are accepted and you may book online using our secure shopping cart.
Dinners typically conclude by 9 p.m. Dress is business casual with a coat or wrap recommended as Tahoe evenings can turn chilly. Wear comfortable walking shoes. High heels are not recommended when strolling the uneven stone pathways of Thunderbird Lodge.
