Thunderbird Lake Tahoe docent-guided tours arriving by water operate from late-May through the end of September.
From Lake Tahoe's South Shore
The historic 40' cruiser Tahoe departs from the pier at Zephyr Cove Marina, Tuesday through Saturday at 10 a.m. through June 22nd. Beginning June 23rd cruise departs at 9 a.m. This is the only tour of the Thunderbird Tahoe Historic Site available on Wednesdays and Thursdays prior to June 27th.
This approximately five hour experience includes a light continental breakfast, narrated cruise along the lake's east shore, guided tour of the historic site, and a lakeside picnic style lunch on the grounds following the tour.
Ticket prices are $149 for adults and $65 for children ages 6 to 12.

From Lake Tahoe's North Shore
Various vessels depart the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe hotel dock (at the Lone Eagle Grille) each Thursday through Saturday at 9 a.m. Click here for driving directions to the Lone Eagle Grille.
Ticket prices are $140 for adults and $90 for children ages 6 to 12.

Reservations are required for all tours. Self-guided tours are not available.
Smoking is not permitted in the buildings, on the grounds, or aboard shuttle busses and watercraft. Children must be at least six years of age.
Comfortable, dry walking shoes are required and a warm jacket is recommended.
There is no public docking at the Thunderbird Lodge Historic Site.
