Thunderbird's Winemakers' Dinners are the highlight of Lake Tahoe's summer social season. These elegant affairs pair California's finest wines with renowned chefs from throughout the region, and always sellout. Make your reservations early for all four dinners on the second Sunday of each month from July through October. The price of each dinner is $195 per person ($125 of which is a charitable contribution).

Learn to cook like a pro in a Castle-in-the-Sky. Expanding on its cultural education program, Thunderbird Lake Tahoe now offers gourmet farm-to-table cooking classes. In each hands-on session, our private chef will demonstrate ingredient selection, portion control, kitchen safety, wine pairing, accompaniments, and presentation. After class, you will graduate to the sumptuous meal you prepared paired with specially selected wines from the famous Thunderbird cellars.

Each dinner is a themed event: June 17th is a Garden Party from the Grill, September 16th features Fool-Proof Fish, and October 21st is Chef Anne’s Homemade Pasta class.

$250 per person for Flagship and Castle Club Members ($150 is tax deductible), $350 for others ($250 is tax deductible). Pricing includes instruction, wine, beverages, supplies, and dinner. Following selected classes, a spouse or one guest may join each student for dinner priced at an additional $100 per person.

Each Thursday summer evening historic Thunderbird Lodge presents a dazzling array of fine beers and wines, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and entertainment by the region’s most talented performers. Thunder Thursday is the event to see and be seen before dining in Incline Village or along Lake Tahoe’s North Shore.
