Thunderbird Lake Tahoe collects and preserves artifacts that once belonged to the Whittell family or were present at Thunderbird Lodge or the Whittell Family Estate in Woodside, California.

Additionally, Thunderbird Lake Tahoe’s archives are a repository for documents and memorabilia from Lake Tahoe, the Sierra Nevada, San Francisco Bay Area, and Nevada. We welcome your gifts of early photographs, films, paper documents, and collectibles.
