CASTLE CLUB

Thunderbird Lake Tahoe receives no government support and is funded entirely by gifts from friends like you. We welcome contributions in any amount.

Castle Club members are building a $20-million permanent Preservation Fund to save Thunderbird Lodge and Yacht for future generations. With thanks to the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, families, and individuals, we are 25% of the way there. Please carry on the legacy with your gifts of cash, I.R.A. distributions, stocks and securities, family foundation grants, or end-of-life bequests.

The Castle Club is open to individuals, families, and foundations making a legacy gift of $100,000 or more to Thunderbird Lake Tahoe’s permanent Preservation Fund.

Matching gift opportunities are currently available. When you donate $100,000 or more to the Preservation Fund, other donors have agreed to match your gift dollar-for-dollar.

There are many ways to structure your Castle Club contribution including multi-year gifts, transferring stocks or securities, gifting an I.R.A. distribution, establishing a matching gift campaign, granting funds from a family foundation or donor-advised fund, or making a bequest from your estate.

Because they are safeguarding Thunderbird Lodge and Yacht for the future, Castle Club donors receive a generous package of access privileges to Thunderbird Lake Tahoe.
