Come and explore Thunderbird Lodge National Historic Site, Lake Tahoe's Castle-in-the-Sky. The house and gardens are open for public guided tours on Tuesday through Saturday through October. Private group tours are available year-round.

The Thunderbird yacht might be the most unique wooden vessel ever crafted. Since it was built for George Whittell in 1939, celebrities and bon vivants have continued to cruise Lake Tahoe in art-deco elegance.
